What is Emily's Day?
This is Emily. She was amazing and loved volunteering. Emily's day encourages the community to get out and volunteer.
"Emily's Day" is a community-driven initiative launched by Emily's family and friends to inspire and encourage volunteerism. Emily dedicated her life to service, actively volunteering for over 10 different organizations on the Central Coast throughout her time here. Her unwavering commitment and generous spirit touched countless lives until her passing from cancer in May 2025. The award program provides individuals and groups with an opportunity to dedicate a day to meaningful service activities of their choosing — from BBQ fundraisers and community clean-ups to educational events and fundraising efforts. Participants will document their activities and complete a questionnaire, with outstanding efforts rewarded with up to a $1,000 grant awarded to the organization of their choice.
